MÜNTER BECOMES INSTRUCTOR AT FAST TRACK RACING SCHOOL, COMMENTS ON RACING PLANS

Concord, NC (June 13, 2005) In addition to being a correspondent for NASCAR.com, Leilani Münter will be working part time as an instructor for Fast Track Racing School, the Official Driving School of ARCA. Münter has known 1995 ARCA Champion and the owner of Fast Track Racing School Andy Hillenburg since she arrived in North Carolina in 2002. "I went to speak to John Bickford (Jeff Gordon's stepfather) at Action Performance. I just asked for his advice," said Leilani, "He told me to go see Andy. That's how we met."

Andy Hillenburg has driven NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch Series, Craftsman Trucks, IRL, USAC, Sprint cars, and was a test driver for IROC. He started both the Daytona 500 and the Indy 500. Hillenburg has two wins and one pole at Daytona. Münter spent 3 days with Hillenburg at Atlanta Motor Speedway. After working with her, Hillenburg had this to say of her driving abilities, "Leilani has the desire and potential to become one of the top drivers in the next generation of racing stars. Leilani has an understanding of what to do in a race car. She's not intimidated. She's not a good 'woman' driver. She's just a good driver."

Münter will continue working for NASCAR.com and Fast Track Racing School while she negotiates with potential sponsors to go racing. "I have a top quality, cream-of-the-crop, championship NASCAR Nextel Cup team ready to field ARCA cars for me," said Leilani, "They run up front, they win races, they are great people with great equipment. It is an honor to be working with them and I can't wait to go racing with them. This is an incredible opportunity for me."
