LEILANI FEATURED ON THE COVER OF CORVETTE QUARTERLY
WARREN, Mich. — The Winter 2004 issue of Corvette Quarterly features NASCAR® Elite Division driver
Leilani Münter on its cover, with a seven-page article detailing her adventures driving
a new Corvette C6 through Nevada.
Fifteen photos chronicle Münter's trek in a Daytona Sunset Orange C6 through the Nevada
desert and on the Las Vegas strip, and in a fifth-generation Corvette Z06 at the Spring
Mountain Advanced Driving School in Pahrump, Nev.
Münter, whose ultimate goal is to race in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, plans to compete in
the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division and the ROMCO Super Late Model Series in 2005. Münter is
the first NASCAR driver — male or female — to be featured on the cover of CQ.
"My experience with everyone at Corvette Quarterly was first class all the way,"
said Münter, formerly a stand-in/double for actress Catherine Zeta-Jones currently
a correspondent for NASCAR.com. "The photo shoots and driving the C6 and the Z06
were a lot of fun, and the pictures in the magazine turned out great."
"Corvette Quarterly magazine showcases the Corvette experience with entertaining
stories about the technology, performance, personalities, heritage and lifestyle of
America's sports car," said Jeremy Morris, Senior Vice President, Publishing, for
ampbell-Ewald and Publisher of Corvette Quarterly.
